SLO: use headings, paragraphs, punctuation and quotation marks to assist with constructing and confirming meaning
Description: I would use this On-line activity for this GLO as a Bell Work type activity and maybe as an in class activity. It is an activity which reinforces grammar points. A sentence is put on the screen and you must choose the appropriate grammar mark.

Grade 2
Subject: English Language Arts
Description: I would use this activity because it is a fun way for students to practice their long hand writing skills, proper placement of punctuation, idea and brainstorming and spelling skills. This site has many story starters that can help students begin in creative writing and like many activities it can be crossed over into other curriculum where it is appropriate. the story starter also had a picture accompanying the starter.
GLO: 2.4 Students will listen, speak, read, write, view and represent to comprehend and respond personally and critically to oral, print and other media texts.
