This type of book is not my normal selection. However I found it interesting for it revolved around the notion that History has ended which was expressed in an article by Francis Fukuyama. It surrounded three separate stories within different time periods and all revolving back to the same ending, thus inkling that history has ended. We could argue that it has, and that for whatever is to come is just a repeat of something which has already occurred or has it?

It is an interesting concept to wrap our thought around, for have we made a difference in the world or are we following the same paths with the same inevitable outcomes as the past? What are we doing now that is so different than 50 years ago?
